Every year, the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Camp Hill holds a Greek Festival. It’s a popular event that allows festival goers to explore Greek culture. This year marks the 47th anniversary of the festival. The Greek Festival runs from Friday, May 17 to Sunday May, 19. It’s open from 11am to 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

It’s best to visit the festival earlier in the day because it can get very crowded at dinner time. It’s also best to visit the festival on Friday or Saturday since some of the food will sell out. It’s fairly easy to navigate the festival, but you can pick up a map if you need one. Much of the food can be found in the tents outside of the church, but food is also served inside the church.

The delicious Greek food is the main attraction. Churchgoers make authentic Greek food to serve to customers. Gyros, calamari, souvlaki, and baklava sundaes are a few of the items served outside of the church. Inside the church you can find dinner foods like lamb, chicken, pastitso, and moussaka. Desserts and pastries can be found both inside and outside of the church.

There are many activities you can do inside the church. Right when you walk in, you’ll notice the church interior. Thousands of beautiful, intricate, icons line the walls and huge diamond chandeliers hang from the ceiling. It really is a sight to behold, and if you go to the festival you should definitely check it out. If you go downstairs, you will find many different vendors. They sell authentic Greek items and  jewelry.

The Greek dancers put on shows outside of the church. The name of the troop is the Olympic Flames. They dance all day on Saturday and Sunday and at 5:30 and 6:30 on Friday.

The Greek Festival attracts thousands of visitors each year and is one of the largest ethnic festivals in PA. People tend to enjoy the festival and many people find themselves coming back every year. It has a lively atmosphere that festival goers enjoy. So come out to the Camp Hill Greek Festival and get your Greek on!
